Rockville police seek fugitive wanted for stabbing multiple people

ROCKVILLE, MD — The Rockville City Police Department has issued an arrest warrant for Ricky Dyson, a Rockville resident, following a stabbing incident that occurred on the evening of July 20. At around 9:40 PM, officers responded to a report of an assault near Dawson Ave. and Upton St., where they discovered a large crowd and evidence of blood at the scene.

Investigations led to the identification of Dyson as the suspect. He is charged with multiple counts including four counts each of 1st Degree Assault, 2nd Degree Assault, and Reckless Endangerment. Shortly after the incident, four adult victims with non-life-threatening stab wounds arrived at a local hospital.
