WASHINGTON, D.C. — Five suspects involved in a simple assault in Northwest D.C. are being sought by police.
The incident occurred on July 21, around 3:30 a.m., when a woman was leaving a convenience store in the 1100 block of U Street, Northwest. The victim reported that multiple suspects approached and assaulted her before fleeing the scene.
Surveillance cameras captured images of the suspects.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the police at (202) 727-9099 or text tips to 50411. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and indictment of those responsible.
