TOWSON, Md. — Baltimore County Police have arrested and charged a 44-year-old man in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred in Parkville last week. James Clark has been charged with first-degree murder following the death of an adult male on September 2.
Police responded to a report of gunfire at approximately 4:20 p.m. on the 8400 block of Leefield Road in the 21234 ZIP code. Upon arrival, officers found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body. The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
James Clark was taken into custody by homicide detectives and is currently being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center. The investigation remains ongoing.
Authorities have not released additional details regarding the motive or any further information about the victim.
