STOCKTON, Md. — The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office participated in the Stockton Volunteer Fire Company’s 100th anniversary celebration on Saturday, September 14. Deputies Hawkins and Thomas, along with K9 partner Deacon, represented the office at the event, which was held in Worcester County.
During the celebration, the deputies engaged with attendees, answering questions about fire safety, the office’s duties, and Lithium-Ion battery safety. K9 Deacon was a hit with the crowd, enjoying numerous belly rubs.
The Office of the State Fire Marshal congratulated the Stockton Volunteer Fire Company for a century of service to the community.
The office will also be present at the Lower Shore Autism Community’s First Responder Meet and Greet on September 15 at Winterplace Park.
