Utica, NY – Utica Police and Fire departments responded to a vehicle and motorcycle accident at the intersection of Faxton St and Oneida St at approximately 4:00 PM on Tuesday.
The motorcycle operator sustained serious injuries and was initially transported to Wynn Hospital. Due to the severity of the injuries, further care was provided at a hospital in Syracuse.
Investigations reveal that a transport van collided with the motorcycle as it turned from Oneida St onto Faxton St.
The Accident Reconstruction Team is continuing the investigation and requests any witnesses to contact the Utica Police Department Criminal Investigations Division at 315-223-3510. Further updates will be shared as they become available.
