Baltimore police arrest 18-year-old on gun and drug charges in Eastern District

BALTIMORE — An 18-year-old male was arrested Tuesday evening in Baltimore’s Eastern District after detectives recovered a handgun, ammunition, and controlled dangerous substances (CDS) during an investigation, according to the Baltimore Police Department.

The arrest took place on November 5 at approximately 5:44 p.m. in the 2900 block of Brendan Avenue. Detectives were conducting an investigation in the area when they apprehended the suspect and seized the weapon, drugs, and additional property.

The young man was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he was charged with gun and drug offenses. Police have not released further details on the case or the nature of the additional property recovered.
