$50K Powerball ticket sold at West Village grocery in Manhattan

MANHATTAN, N.Y. — A lucky Powerball player in Manhattan won a third-prize $50,000 payout in the December 14 drawing, according to the New York Lottery.

The winning ticket was purchased at West Village Grocery, located at 46 8th Avenue, and matched four of the five white balls plus the red Powerball.

The Powerball numbers for the December 14 drawing were drawn from a field of one to 69 for the white balls and one to 26 for the red Powerball. Drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.

Lottery officials are urging all players who purchased tickets from West Village Grocery to check their numbers to see if they are the $50,000 winner.

The Powerball jackpot continues to rise after no tickets matched all six numbers in the latest drawing.
