BALTIMORE — Authorities are investigating two separate shootings reported on Sunday, with one victim suffering life-threatening injuries and another listed in stable condition.

In the first incident, Southeast District patrol officers responded to the 2300 block of Millimam Avenue at approximately 8:29 a.m. after receiving reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found an unidentified man with a gunshot wound to the head. The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital and remains in critical condition. Due to the severity of his injuries, the investigation has been turned over to homicide detectives.

Earlier in the morning, at approximately 12:23 a.m., officers from the Southern District were alerted to a walk-in shooting victim at a local hospital. The 27-year-old man was found with a gunshot wound to the neck but was listed in stable condition. According to police, the victim reported being shot in the 1600 block of Inverness Avenue before driving himself to the hospital.

Detectives in both the Southeast and Southern Districts have assumed control of their respective investigations. Police have not identified suspects in either case and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
