BEDFORD, Ohio — A lucky Ohio Lottery player has secured a life-changing prize of $25,000 a year for life after matching five winning numbers in the February 1 Lucky for Life drawing.

The winning ticket was purchased at Bedford Downtown Beverage, located at 796 Broadway in Bedford. The winning numbers drawn were 4, 34, 36, 42, and 47, with the Lucky Ball number 2.

The ticket holder matched all five white balls, earning the game’s second-tier prize of $25,000 annually for life. Lottery officials confirmed that the winner selected their own numbers.

Lucky for Life is a multi-state draw game with drawings held daily, offering players the chance to win lifelong prizes.

Since its inception in 1974, the Ohio Lottery has contributed more than $33 billion to support education throughout the state.
