PHILADELPHIA – A 16-year-old boy was shot in the right hip Saturday afternoon on a road in the city’s 12th Police District, police said.

The shooting occurred at approximately 1:28 p.m. on the 79XX block of Buist Avenue. Officers transported the victim to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition.

No arrests have been made, and no weapons have been recovered. Authorities have secured the scene as the investigation continues.
