BROOKLYN, NY – A lucky Powerball player in Brooklyn has won a $50,000 third-prize in the March 12 drawing.
The winning ticket was sold at Nahal Petroleum, located at 2978 Cropsey Avenue.
Powerball numbers are drawn three times a week, with players selecting numbers from a field of one to 69, plus a red Power Ball from a separate pool of one to 26.
The New York Lottery, which contributes billions to state education, encourages winners to check their tickets and claim prizes within the designated time frame.
