Ohio lottery player nails $500K lottery jackpot

LOGAN, OH – A top prize-winning ticket worth $500,000 was sold in Logan to a lucky Ohio Lottery player who played the $500,000 Cashword scratch-off game.

The ticket was purchased at Speedway #9186, located at the corner of Mulberry Street and Route 93. Following mandatory state and federal tax withholdings totaling 28 percent, the winner will receive an estimated $360,000.

$500,000 Cashword is a $10 scratch-off game offering one of the highest jackpots in its price category. As of March 31, only one top prize remains in circulation.

The Cashword series has been a popular choice among Ohio players, offering large prizes for a modest ticket price and engaging gameplay.

The Ohio Lottery’s full lineup of scratch-offs continues to generate millions in winnings and has contributed more than $33 billion to education since 1974.

No additional details about the winner’s identity were released by lottery officials.
