DELAWARE, OH – A lucky player in Delaware, Ohio, is celebrating a massive payday after winning the $1-million top prize on the Ohio Lottery’s VIP Millions scratch-off game.

The winning ticket was purchased at London Road Shell, located at 132 London Road. The ticket holder opted for the $500,000 cash payout and will receive approximately $360,000 after federal and state tax withholdings.

VIP Millions is a $50 scratch-off game offering top prizes of $40,000 a year for 25 years. As of April 3, 41 of these top prizes remain unclaimed.

The VIP Millions ticket is part of the Ohio Lottery’s high-stakes scratch-off lineup, designed to award large cash prizes through instant win play.

Since its inception in 1974, the Ohio Lottery has contributed more than $33 billion to education across the state.
