18-year-old killed in early morning shooting on Aquahart Road in Glen Burnie

An 18-year-old man was shot and killed early Saturday morning in Glen Burnie, prompting a homicide investigation by the Anne Arundel County Police Department.

At approximately 5:00 a.m., officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 800 block of Aquahart Road. When they arrived, they discovered Jonathan Guiliani of Glen Burnie suffering from a gunshot wound. Emergency responders from the Anne Arundel County Fire Department pronounced him dead at the scene.

The department’s Homicide Unit has taken over the investigation. Detectives were joined by members of the Evidence Collection Unit, who gathered multiple items believed to be connected to the crime.

As of Saturday afternoon, no arrests have been made. Investigators have not identified any suspects, and the motive for the shooting remains unknown.
