FREEHOLD, N.J. — One of the Jersey Shore’s largest annual carnivals, the Monmouth County Fair, will return later this month with a five-day lineup of attractions, live entertainment, and family-friendly fun.
Held at the East Freehold Fairgrounds from July 23 to 27, the fair will feature a mix of classic amusement rides from Campy’s Blue Star Amusements, 4-H animal showcases, and interactive displays from the Monmouth County Park System. General admission is $10, with free entry for children under 12.
Among the crowd favorites making a return are Robinson’s Racing Pigs, The Raptor Project, and the Bwana Jim Wildlife Show. Attendees can also expect high-energy performances from Hilby the Skinny German Juggle Boy and Aaron Bonk, known for his fire, whip, and danger tricks.
For thrill seekers, the Flying Fools High Diving Show offers high-stakes dives throughout the fair schedule. Visitors can also stop by Goodwin’s Good Time Photo Booth to capture souvenir snapshots.
Beyond entertainment, the fair will include home and garden exhibits, historical demonstrations, and dozens of commercial vendors. A wide range of food stands will also be on-site with traditional carnival fare.
With a mix of rides, animals, food, and shows, the Monmouth County Fair continues to be a major summer draw in central New Jersey.
