Glen Burnie, MD — A Royal Farms in Glen Burnie was held up at gunpoint in the early hours of Wednesday morning, and police are now searching for a suspect who fled the scene in a red SUV.

The robbery happened around 2:55 a.m. on September 24 at the Royal Farms located at 7201 Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard. According to investigators, a male suspect entered the store, displayed a handgun, and demanded both cash and merchandise from an employee.

After the robbery, the suspect exited the store and fled to an awaiting red SUV, which was last seen heading south on Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard. Officers responded quickly and canvassed the area, but neither the vehicle nor the suspect was located.

The suspect is described as a Black male wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and black pants. No injuries were reported during the incident, and police have not released surveillance images or video at this time.

The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is urged to contact law enforcement.
