Father and daughter from Baltimore County win $50K Bonus Match 5 prize

RANDALLSTOWN, MD — A Baltimore County father and daughter who often play the Maryland Lottery together claimed a $50,000 top prize after matching all five numbers on a Bonus Match 5 quick pick ticket earlier this month.

The father, a retired warehouse manager from Randallstown, purchased the winning ticket at Lakeside Liquors, located at 9229 Lakeside Boulevard in Owings Mills. He later checked his numbers using the Maryland Lottery app and discovered he had won the game’s top prize.

After confirming the win at a local retailer, the father and daughter visited Maryland Lottery headquarters to claim the prize. According to officials, the pair regularly play the Lottery as a shared activity and decided to split the winnings evenly.

The duo plans to use the money to pay off bills, make home improvements, and save the remainder.

Lakeside Liquors will receive a $500 bonus from the Maryland Lottery for selling the top-prize winning ticket.
