VERMILLION, OH – A lucky stop at a local veterans post turned into a nearly $16,000 payday for one Vermillion woman, who walked away with $15,990 after playing the Ohio Lottery’s Coin Collector game.

The winning ticket was purchased at the Italian American Veterans Post 1, located at 4567 Oberlin Avenue in Lorain. The winner was playing the interactive Coin Collector game, which offers 11 different prize tiers and always keeps the top prize available.

The $5 game rewards players for matching coin symbols, with each ticket offering a shot at various cash amounts. The Ohio Lottery did not release the name of the winner, as is common with lower-tier prize announcements.
