Man fatally stabbed along Wadsworth Avenue in early-morning attack

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Police are investigating a deadly stabbing that occurred early Tuesday morning on the 1500 block of Wadsworth Avenue.

Officers from the 14th District responded around 7:23 a.m. to reports of a stabbing on the highway.

An unidentified man was found at the scene suffering from stab wounds.

Police say victim died shortly after arrival at hospital

Medics transported the victim to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased less than an hour later. Authorities have not released the man’s identity pending family notification.
