VIRGINIA BEACH, VA — Detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who was shot at in a parking lot last month and drove away before officers could make contact.

The incident occurred on September 27 in the parking lot of 401 N Great Neck Road. According to Virginia Beach Police, the victim — described as a Black male wearing a white shirt and jeans — was seen fleeing the area in an orange-colored sedan after being shot at. Investigators have not confirmed if the victim was struck or injured.

Authorities are trying to locate the man to check on his condition and gather information to assist with the ongoing investigation.
