Creep gropes woman on Bronx bus then attacks her phone before fleeing

BRONX, N.Y. – A woman riding an MTA bus in the Bronx was assaulted Friday morning after a man pressed his body against her and then struck her phone when she tried to take his picture.

The 36-year-old victim was onboard a BX19 bus near East 149th Street and Brook Avenue around 10 a.m. when the incident occurred.

After the man repeatedly pressed against her over her clothing, the victim attempted to photograph him, prompting the suspect to knock the phone from her hand, cutting her finger.

The individual is described as a male last seen wearing a dark-colored sweatshirt, black vest, gray sweatpants, and blue and white sneakers.
