NEWARK, NJ — A Newark woman who hasn’t been heard from since August 30, 2019, has officially been reported missing, prompting police to issue a public call for help on Thursday as they reopen the search for Monique Massenburg, 59.
Massenburg was last seen in the 300 block of Mt. Prospect Avenue, wearing a green windbreaker, blue jeans, and white sneakers. Though her physical and mental health were described as good at the time, she vanished without a word more than six years ago—and wasn’t reported missing until now.
