CUMBERLAND, MD — A 43-year-old man was taken into custody Tuesday after officers with the Cumberland Police Department served a bench warrant issued as a result of a grand jury indictment on multiple drug charges.

Brandon Martese Paige, of Cumberland, was arrested on December 16 and transported to the Allegany County Detention Center, where he is being held without bond. He is expected to face trial in Allegany County Circuit Court.

According to police, Paige is facing a total of nine charges, including:

  • Three counts of CDS possession with intent to distribute
  • Three counts of CDS distribute narcotic
  • Three counts of CDS possession not cannabis
