Summit Township, PA — A Pennsylvania Lottery player in Erie County is now $1.5 million richer after purchasing a winning Cash Spectacular scratch-off ticket at a Sheetz store in Summit Township.

The $30 Cash Spectacular ticket, which offers top prizes of $1.5 million, was sold at the Sheetz located at 8180 Perry Highway. For selling the winning ticket, the retailer will receive a $10,000 bonus from the Lottery.

The winner’s identity has not been disclosed, and they have one year from the game’s end-sale date to claim the prize. Lottery officials recommend signing the back of the ticket and contacting the Lottery office for instructions.

This prize is part of a growing list of high-dollar winners in the state’s Cash Spectacular game. Tickets are distributed randomly, and the Lottery only becomes aware of winning sales once prizes are claimed.

All winnings over $5,000 are subject to applicable state and federal withholding taxes.
