Two men charged after Glen Burnie store clerk robbed at gunpoint during early morning holdup
GLEN BURNIE, MD – A pair of suspects are in custody after an armed robbery at a convenience store in Glen Burnie led investigators across county lines and ended with coordinated arrests in Annapolis.
Anne Arundel County Police said the robbery occurred Friday morning around 7:05 a.m. at the One Stop store located at 1201 N. Crain Highway. Two suspects pulled up in a black Nissan, entered the store, and held the clerk at gunpoint, stealing cash and merchandise before fleeing southbound on Crain Highway.
Officers responding to the scene were unable to locate the suspects immediately. Investigators later learned the black Nissan had been carjacked earlier in Prince George’s County. That connection led detectives in the Prince George’s County Robbery Section to track the stolen vehicle in the Annapolis area, where they alerted regional crime units for a coordinated effort.
Police say the suspects eventually switched vehicles, but both were tracked and arrested without further incident.
The suspects have been identified as Jordan Clyde Williams, 19, of Annapolis, and Jamel Bradley, 20, of Upper Marlboro. Both have been charged in connection with the armed robbery and are facing multiple counts, though specific charges have not yet been disclosed.
Detectives continue to investigate whether the pair may be connected to other recent robberies in the region.
