Linden player strikes it rich with 472K lottery win

Union County player takes home 472983 share of Jersey Cash 5 jackpot

Trenton, NJ – A Union County lottery player matched all five numbers in Friday’s Jersey Cash 5 drawing to win $472,983, half of the game’s $945,966 jackpot, according to state lottery officials.

The winning numbers drawn were 03, 07, 14, 19 and 38. The Bullseye was 07 and the XTRA was 02.

The ticket was sold at Quick Mart, located at 701 Knopf Street in Linden. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus for selling the jackpot-winning ticket.

The drawing also produced 51 winners at the $500 prize level for matching four numbers plus the Bullseye, and 14 of those doubled their payout to $1,000 with the XTRA option.

The jackpot reset to $150,000 for the next drawing.
