GAITHERSBURG, MD – A 19-year-old Clarksburg man has been arrested after police say he secretly recorded women changing clothes inside dressing rooms at a Banana Republic store in the 22000 block of Clarksburg Road. Investigators believe there may be additional victims and are asking shoppers who visited the store between May and August of 2025 to come forward.
Detectives say Fabio Delrio, who was employed at the store during the time of the incidents, allegedly used his cell phone to record multiple women without their consent. According to investigators, the first reported incident occurred around 7 p.m. on May 10, 2025, when a woman noticed a phone lens aimed into her dressing room. She later reported the discovery to police.
A second incident took place just over a week later, on May 18, when another woman contacted authorities after suspecting she had been recorded. Then, on August 9, a third victim spotted a cell phone camera pointed at her from beneath a dressing room door. After confronting the situation, she immediately called 911.
Responding Montgomery County Police officers reviewed store surveillance footage and interviewed witnesses, ultimately identifying Delrio as the suspect. His phone was seized and subjected to a forensic search under warrant.
Search uncovers additional potential victims
During the search, investigators reportedly found photos of the three known victims as well as several other unidentified women. One of the women was later identified as a fourth victim who had been photographed both on the sales floor and inside a dressing room on August 6, 2025.
Delrio now faces four counts of peeping tom and four counts of visual surveillance with prurient intent, along with related offenses. He was arrested on February 11, 2026, and later released on a $5,000 unsecured personal bond pending further proceedings.
