$650K lottery jackpot ticket sold at Scranton convenience store

Scranton, PA — A single ticket matched all five numbers in a weekend drawing to land a $650,000 jackpot, turning a routine stop at a neighborhood convenience store into a major lottery win.

The Pennsylvania Lottery confirmed the winning Cash 5 with Quick Cash ticket was sold at Joe’s Kwik Mart, located at 701 North Keyser Avenue in Scranton, for the Saturday drawing.

The ticket matched all five numbers drawn — 4, 25, 26, 37, and 41 — securing the jackpot prize before applicable withholding. The retailer will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Lottery officials said winners cannot be identified until the ticket is claimed and validated. The jackpot prize must be claimed within one year of the drawing date.

In addition to the top prize, more than 12,300 other tickets also won prizes in the same drawing.

Players are encouraged to check their tickets, as lower-tier prizes can be claimed at authorized lottery retailers.
