$1M scratch off jackpot lands at Bucks County grocery store
Hilltown Township, PA — A routine stop at a Bucks County grocery store has produced a $1,000,000 lottery winner after a top-prize scratch-off ticket was sold at a local Giant location.
Pennsylvania Lottery officials announced the winning 200X the Cash ticket was sold at GIANT, located at 760 Route 113 in Hilltown Township.
The retailer will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
The $20 scratch-off game offers multiple prizes, including top prizes of $1,000,000. Officials noted that winning tickets are distributed randomly, and neither the lottery nor retailers know where top prizes will be sold until they are claimed.
Winners of prizes over $5,000 are subject to applicable taxes, and lottery officials advise signing the ticket immediately and contacting the lottery to begin the claims process.
