Attempted robbery erupts into shooting on Pulaski Highway

A man was wounded after an attempted robbery turned violent, sending investigators searching for answers

Baltimore, MD — What began as an attempted robbery along Pulaski Highway ended with a 34-year-old man suffering a gunshot wound Thursday night, according to Baltimore Police.

Officers were dispatched at approximately 9:49 p.m. Thursday to the 100 block of North Curley Street following reports of a shooting.

When officers arrived, they found a 34-year-old male with a gunshot wound that police said was not life-threatening. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

An investigation later determined the shooting occurred in the 3300 block of Pulaski Highway and stemmed from an attempted robbery, according to police.

Detectives assigned to the Southeast District responded and took over the investigation.

No arrests have been announced, and police have not released additional information about a suspect.
