The Syracuse Police Department has issued a public alert seeking information on the whereabouts of Troy Boatwright, who is wanted as part of an ongoing homicide investigation in the city.
Authorities released Boatwright’s description and are urging anyone with information to immediately contact investigators.

According to the Syracuse Police Department, Boatwright is a 22-year-old male described as approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing about 120 pounds. Police said he has black hair and brown eyes.

“The Syracuse Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Troy Boatwright, who is wanted in connection with a homicide investigation in the City of Syracuse,” the department said.

“Members of the public are reminded not to approach or attempt to apprehend Boatwright,” the department said. “Anyone who sees him should contact the Warrant Squad immediately.”
Authorities are asking anyone with information regarding his location to contact the Syracuse Police Department Warrant Squad.
