Traffic stop leads to drug charges and drunken driving arrest.

WALL TOWNSHIP, N.J. — An early morning traffic stop in Wall Township led to the arrest of a New York man on drunken driving and drug charges after police said officers found heroin and drug paraphernalia during the investigation.

According to the Wall Township Police Department, Michael Bianco, 43, of New York, was stopped by Patrolman Tyler Russell on Algonkin Trail at approximately 2:04 a.m. Monday.

Police charged Bianco with driving while intoxicated (DWI), possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Bianco was issued summonses and released in accordance with New Jersey’s John’s Law, police said.

The charges were included in the Wall Township Police Department’s weekly arrest blotter covering July 13 through July 19.
