EZPLAY win sends family vacation plans into motion

PARMA, OH — A Parma woman is planning a family getaway after turning a Lottery purchase into a $25,261 jackpot with a winning EZPLAY Going Pro Progressive Jackpot ticket.

The winning ticket was purchased at Parma Tavern, located at 5680 Broadview Road in Parma.

The Ohio Lottery said the woman won the game’s $25,261 progressive jackpot by finishing with par or better on all nine holes in the golf-themed EZPLAY Going Pro game.

The winner said she plans to use the money to pay off bills and take her family on a trip.

After required federal and state tax withholdings totaling 26.75%, she will receive $18,503.

EZPLAY games are instant play-style tickets generated through Ohio Lottery terminals. All game information is printed directly on the ticket, eliminating the need for a drawing. The overall odds of winning a Progressive Jackpot Going Pro ticket are 1 in 4.55.
