Troopers say Millville man faces first-degree drug charges

BRIDGETON, NJ – A fugitive wanted for months in a Cumberland County narcotics investigation is now the focus of a public search by New Jersey State Police, which is asking for help locating 34-year-old Millville resident Brock Gould.

The New Jersey State Police Fugitive Unit said Gould has been charged in connection with a narcotics investigation in Bridgeton.

An arrest warrant was issued for Gould on Feb. 19, according to State Police.

First-degree charges among allegations

Gould is wanted on first-degree charges of conspiracy to distribute crack cocaine and distribution of crack cocaine.

He is also charged with third-degree possession of crack cocaine and second-degree distribution of crack cocaine within 500 feet of public housing.

Additional allegations include possession of drug paraphernalia, loitering to obtain or sell controlled dangerous substances and failure to surrender controlled dangerous substances to law enforcement. Those allegations are disorderly persons offenses.

State Police did not provide additional details about the underlying narcotics investigation in the public notice.

Fugitive Unit asks public for tips

The NJSP Fugitive Unit is asking anyone with information about Gould’s whereabouts to contact investigators.

Tips can be provided by calling the Fugitive Unit at 1-800-437-7839 or emailing FugitiveInformation@njsp.gov.

State Police said tips will be kept confidential.

Anyone who encounters a wanted person should avoid attempting to apprehend that individual and instead contact law enforcement.

The charges against Gould are accusations, and he is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
