Six numbers deliver a quarter-million-dollar Double Play hit

TRENTON, NJ – One perfect ticket turned Monday night’s Pick-6 Double Play drawing into a $250,000 score, matching all six numbers while the main New Jersey Lottery jackpot escaped players and climbed to $4 million.

The New Jersey Lottery said the winning Aug. 17 Double Play ticket was purchased through Lotto.com.

Six-number sweep delivers $250K

The winning Double Play numbers were 06, 13, 24, 25, 27 and 43.

One ticket matched all six to capture the $250,000 top prize.

Double Play is an optional Pick-6 feature available for an additional $1. It gives players a second set of numbers drawn immediately following the regular Pick-6 drawing and offers prizes reaching $250,000.

Pick-6 jackpot jumps to $4M

No ticket matched all six numbers in Monday’s regular Pick-6 drawing.

Those winning numbers were 04, 08, 13, 16, 27 and 38.

That pushed the jackpot to $4 million for the next drawing Thursday, Aug. 20.

The $250,000 Double Play prize and the $4 million Pick-6 jackpot are separate.

New Jersey game dates back decades

Pick-6 debuted in New Jersey in 1980 and has undergone several changes over the decades.

The current version launched in April 2022 and includes XTRA as a standard feature along with the optional Double Play drawing.

New Jersey’s record Pick-6 jackpot was $48.9 million, won in Clifton in 2002.
