Two victims found shot on Iron Horse Lane in Baltimore County
PIKESVILLE, MD — Late-night gunfire on a Pikesville street left a 41-year-old man dead and a 32-year-old woman wounded Tuesday, launching a Baltimore County homicide investigation into what led to the double shooting.
Baltimore County Police said officers were called to the 9000 block of Iron Horse Lane at approximately 11:35 p.m. Tuesday.
When officers arrived, they found the man and woman suffering from gunshot wounds.
The 41-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 32-year-old woman was transported to an area hospital. Police did not provide information about the severity of her injuries or her condition Wednesday.
Neither victim was identified in the initial announcement.
Police also did not disclose what may have led to the shooting.
No arrests were announced, and investigators did not release a description of anyone being sought in connection with the gunfire.
Baltimore County homicide detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
