HENDERSON COUNTY, IL – Henderson County Sheriff, Donald E. Seitz released that on New Years Eve at approximately 7:08pm, the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a Domestic Violence situation in Stronghurst, IL with a person possibly armed with a gun. The Sheriff’s Office assisted the Stronghurst Police Department. Upon Officer’s arrival, the suspect had fled the residence. The Oquawka Police Department located the suspect in Oquawka and placed suspect under arrest. Arrested was Justin R. Manning, age 32. Manning is charged with Domestic Battery and Possession of a firearm without at valid FOID. Manning is being held in the Henderson County Jail on $10,000, 10% to apply bail. Manning is presumed innocent until proven guilty in court
