LSU has been playing well, winning 5 of their last 6 games.  Their only loss during that stretch was a one-point loss to Alabama. The Tigers are 7th in the nation in average scoring, picking up 81.9 ppg; although they started slowly in their win over St. Bonaventure-missing 10 of their first 11 shots from the floor.

Michigan was solid once again in three-point shooting defense, allowing Texas Southern to shoot only 1-for-12 from downtown.
