LAKEWOOD, NJ – A school bus heading to a private all-girls school in Lakewood carrying 15 children was involved in a crash that left one car on its side and the bus resting in midair on top of the car. Police in Lakewood say the crash happened shortly after 8 am on Tuesday after the bus collided into a parked car at an apparent high rate of speed.
The crash occurred at the intersection of Forest Avenue and 11th Street. None of the children or the bus driver were injured, police reported.
