Former U.S. President Donald J. Trump is having the last laugh in his neverending war of words with CNN. The struggling news network, plagued with scandals and ratings drops has suffered another casualty. On Wednesday, CNN fired controversial CEO Jeff Zucker. Zucker was accused of having an undisclosed sexual affair with another high-ranking CNN staffer.

Zucker was captain of a sinking ship

Zucker, who is credited for steering the sinking ship of CNN directly into the reef by offering viewers non-stop coverage of Trump scandals, even one year after the president had left public office. CNN’s obsession with the former president and its open support for the progressive liberal social policy agenda in America has been the root cause of its hemorrhaging of viewers over the past few years.

“Jeff Zucker, a world-class sleazebag who has headed ratings and real-news-challenged CNN for far too long, has been terminated for numerous reasons, but predominantly because CNN has lost its way with viewers and everybody else,” Trump said. “Now is a chance to put Fake News in the backseat because there may not be anything more important than straightening out the horrendous LameStream Media in our Country, and in the case of CNN, throughout the World. Jeff Zucker is gone—congratulations to all!”

CNN’s recent perverse history of sexual scandals

In recent months CNN has been plagued with deviant sexual scandals that lead to the firing of the network’s top-rated host, Chris Cuomo. Cuomo, aside from getting involved in his brother Andrew Cuomo’s political and legal affairs is also being accused of sexually molesting a staffer.

Last month, two CNN producers were accused of heinous crimes of sexual abuse against children. During a pandemic zoom broadcast, CNN host Jeffrey Toobin was caught on video masturbating.

Don Lemon, CNN’s openly gay news host is also being accused of sexually molesting another man. An accuser has claimed Lemon put his hand down the front of his shorts and aggressively fondled the man’s genitalia.

In March of 2021, CNN host Brian Stelter conducted a segment from his home without pants on.

A replacement for Zucker has not been made yet.
