NYC Thieves Posing as Drug Dealers to Commit Robberies in Manhattan

NEW YORK, NY – Crafty thieves in Manhattan are now posing as drug dealers in an attempt to commit robbery against unsuspecting prospective buyers, the New York City Police Department said.

The department has now reported four robberies that fit this pattern since July. The crimes all occurred in Manhattan.

According to police, the suspect offers to sell male victims drugs and then forcibly takes their property.
