What’s going on? Heavy police activity at Storybook Land

EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP, NJ – Storybook Land, one of the Jersey Shore’s hidden treasures and kiddie amusement parks, has a large police presence causing concern to many in the area.

Firefighters, police officers, and others are on the scene with a large presence, but authorities this morning said there is nothing to worry about. It’s just a training exercise, and there is no emergency or cause for concern.

“On Wednesday, October 12th, between the hours of 8:00 am and 1:00 pm, there will be First Responder Training at Storybook Land on the Black Horse Pike, resulting in a large police presence in that area. Please note that there is no emergency, and this is a training exercise only,” the Egg Harbor Township Police Department said today.

The theme park will be open normal hours this week and will be unaffected by the training.
