Brooklyn street vendor assaulted, tip jar stolen

NEW YORK, NY – A New York City sidewalk food pushcart vendor was assaulted last Wednesday and had his tip jar stolen. At around 7:30 am, the brazen broad daylight assault took place near the intersection of Flatbush Avenue and Plaza Street.

An unidentified black male suspect approached the vendor and began punching him in the face. The man fled the scene with the 59-year-old man’s tip jar.
