Police searching for hit-and-run driver the fled fatal crash

PHILADELPHIA, PA – The Philadelphia Police Department is asking the public to assist in identifying the driver of a vehicle involved in a fatal hit and run crash.

A hit and run accident involving an auto and a pedestrian occurred at the intersections of Frankford and Glenwood Avenues on Wednesday, November 30th, 2022.

An automobile driven by the suspect drove south on Frankford Avenue toward Glenwood Avenue, striking a pedestrian at a high rate of speed, fatally injuring him. Upon fleeing the scene, the suspect continued south on Frankford Avenue and struck a vehicle at a high rate of speed at the intersection of Frankford Avenue and Castor Avenue.

After exiting the vehicle, the suspect retrieved a bag from the trunk and fled south on Frankford Avenue on foot.
