Man stabbed in Chalfant, suspect at large

CHALFANT, PA – Police are still seeking a suspect wanted for a stabbing incident in Chalfant over the weekend that sent one victim to the hospital.

The Allegheny County Police Department’s General Investigations Unit responded to a request for assistance in Chalfant by Forest Hills Police after a stabbing was reported on Saturday. At approximately 12:39 am, County 9-1-1 was notified of the stabbing in the 200 block of North Avenue.

First responders found an adult male with a stab wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital and is expected to survive. ACPD detectives have initiated an investigation into the incident and are urging anyone with information concerning this case to call the County Police Tip Line at 1-833-ALL-TIPS. Callers can remain anonymous.
