Fatal Crash on Route 702 under Investigation by Baltimore County Police

ESSEX, MD – Members of the Baltimore County Police Department Crash Team are working to determine the circumstances surrounding a fatal crash that occurred last Saturday evening along Route 702 and I-695 in Precinct 11-Essex. Nicholas Helliwell, 30, was operating a 2010 Kia Forte when he collided with a guardrail. Helliwell was ejected from the vehicle and transported to an area hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

The Baltimore County Police Department Crash Team continues to investigate this incident. They are urging anyone with information to contact them at 410-307-2020.
