Keith A. Glover was arrested while officers were already investigating trouble at Bedford and Centre streets
CUMBERLAND, MD – A late-night disturbance unfolded in front of Cumberland police Saturday when officers say they watched a 35-year-old man grab a victim by the arm and scream in the person’s face at a downtown intersection.
Officers were already at the intersection of Bedford and Centre streets investigating a disturbance when the alleged assault occurred at approximately 11:38 p.m.
Police identified the man as Keith A. Glover, 35, of Hagerstown.
According to Cumberland Police, officers saw Glover grab the victim by the arm and scream in the victim’s face during the disturbance.
Officers placed Glover under arrest at the scene.
He was transported to Central Booking and charged with second-degree assault and disorderly conduct.
At the time Cumberland Police issued its report Sunday, Glover was awaiting a bond review.
Police did not release additional information about what led to the disturbance or identify the victim.
The charges are allegations and have not been proven in court.
