17-Year-Old Robbed by mob at Gunpoint in NYC

NEW YORK CITY, NY- The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying four individuals connected to a robbery incident that occurred on Thursday, April 27, 2023.

The incident took place at approximately 4:00 pm inside 1236 Burke Avenue when the victim, a 17-year-old male, was approached by the suspects. The perpetrators, who were armed with a firearm, forcibly took the victim’s jewelry, sweater, shoes, and cell phone. The suspects were last seen fleeing into 1160 Burke Avenue. Fortunately, the victim did not sustain any injuries and declined medical attention.

The victim reportedly was robbed by four teenage assailants. The first suspect is described as a male teenager with a light complexion, standing approximately 5’6″ to 5’8″ tall, and having a slim build. He was last seen wearing a blue surgical mask, a brown hooded sweatshirt, dark-colored jeans, and black and white sneakers.


Another suspect was reported as a male teenager with a light complexion, approximately 5’8″ tall, and possessing a slim build. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, and gray sneakers.

The third suspect was described to police as a male teenager with a light complexion, standing approximately 5’7″ tall, and having a medium build. He was last seen wearing a black mask, a black jacket with a fur-lined hood, a red hooded sweatshirt underneath, blue jeans, and black sneakers.

The final suspect was a male teenager with a light complexion, approximately 5’11” tall, and possessing a slim build. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and black sneakers.
