QUEENS, NY – A man identified as Durran Morgan, 38, of Pineville Lane, St. Albans, has been recently charged with murder following the fatal shooting of his 25-year-old nephew, Chevaughn Millings. The incident occurred on May 27 during a minor family dispute.
According to Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz, Morgan also shot and injured a 20-year-old woman present at the scene. Morgan faces charges of murder in the second degree, attempted murder in the second degree, assault in the first degree, and criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree. He will return to court on June 12 and could face up to 25 years to life in prison if convicted.
