Allegheny County Police Investigate Batann Avenue Shooting

CLAIRTON, PA – On Wednesday, at around 2:20 pm, County 911 received a shooting report from the 300 block of Batann Avenue in Clairton.

First responders arrived to find an adult with a gunshot wound to the knee. The victim was stabilized and transported to a local hospital.

Detectives from the Allegheny County Police Department are presently spearheading the investigation.

The department urges anyone with information related to this incident to reach out to the County Police Tip Line at 1-833-ALL-TIPS, with the option of remaining anonymous.
